Explore the Depths
Thunder Bay and Lake Huron have more than 200 shipwrecks resting in their waters. Nearly 100 of those sites are known and marked. The Montana and D.M. Wilson sites are favorites for recreational diving. Tech divers love exploring the Monrovia, conditions permitting. For more inspiration, check out the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary list of shipwrecks. Travis can also create a customized dive plan for you.
Snorkeling
From the Surface
Great Lakes Dive Charters can be booked for snorkeling trips too! Many of the shipwrecks in Thunder Bay area are in shallow water and ideal for beginner divers and snorkelers of all skill levels. The Monohansett is one of the most popular sites for snorkeling. Snorkeling is a great family activity!
